I ran across this article on http://www.livescience.com/.  Great article on Type 2 Diabetes and rising numbers in the US.  My material grandmother has type 2 and died of complications....heart disease, and eventually a fatal stroke.  This is one of my motivating factors in my commitment to eating healthy, nonprocessed foods.  Thought some of you may appreciate the article as well.
