I Love a Parade!

Over one river and to the woods to two grandmother's homes we go.....

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm all set to go in 5 hours!  Wow, I'll make this short and get to bed.  Crazy day! Worked until 4ish, hit the grocery store and have been cooking ever since.  I made two beautiful Quiche Loraines. (Emeril Style)  Boring?  Maybe but I'm a sucker for the classics.  Also made a crustless veggie quiche....sauteed mushrooms, green onions and red peppers for the crust.  Topped with a teeny bit of parm (yum) and then the eggs.  Smelled great, looks even better.  Also made some homemade rolls and two varieties of scones.  I made good on my promise and made one with  dark chocolate chips.  Also remade the Sunday Morning Scones.  This time using half applesauce/half coconut oil.  So we are off tomorrow...2 adults, 2 boys, 2 dogs and 2 grandmas to visit.

I'm most thankful and blessed for my family, my health, my creativity which enables me to work and be employed doing what I love.   Love to all of my family and friends for blessing me with your friendship, patience and love.

Wishing you all a holiday that is a reminder of your blessings,

In health and fitness,

Angela

When I was a kid my favorite part of Thanksgiving was the Macy's Parade!!!
